collection of b-rolls right from the heart of Yemen reflecting different sectors such as WASH, education, flooding and we will be adding to this folder for media use. The b-rolls basically show the need for support, and what CARE is doing on the ground to provide the needed support.
Al-Alayfah Raod is one of the most important roads in Taiz governorate as it connects five districts and is considered the easy way for most of the population to move between the governorates but people stopped using it for thirty years because they start using alternative roads. After the war, people resorted to Al-Alayfah Road since it became difficult to use the other roads. The road was completely destroyed. This means that residents couldn't easily access food, water, medicine and other basic services. For years, locals had no choice but to transport food and essential items on their own backs. With funding from BMZ, CARE, though the cash-for-work project, rehabilitated the road. Now cars and motors can reach the village easily and safely.
