Ali Nasser, IDPs, with his family at their camp in Marib City. Ali Says: "We are affected by the fighting and war, we displaced to Marib, we don’t have blankets and mattress."
Interview title: Sound Bite – ALI NASER ALTAIS
I am Ali Nasser Al Tais from Harib Al-Qarameesh. I used to live in Medghal area, but the fight took place in Medghal and all its residents fled.
Some friends came by vehicle and took us. We escaped without taking any of our possessions.
We couldn’t take anything due to the fear of the airstrikes, so we fled without taking anything. Then we reached the compound area.
We rented a house in the compound area, but we couldn't afford the rent due to the salary cut-off.
So, we decided to move here, next to other displaced families. Some people lent us a tent.
This is my family – we’ve just arrived.
We need a tent and other basics.
We don't even have mattresses. We left everything behind because of the war.
