CARE is assisting refugees fleeing the Central African Republic to seek shelter in Chad.
Next to the other relief efforts in Chad CARE also works with the many refugees fleeing from ongoing conflict in neighbouring countries. CARE offers psychosocial and humanitarian support to refugees from Central African Republic and South Sudan, including food and other essential items, access to clean water and sanitation, training and opportunities to earn an income.
CARE began operations in Chad 1975. Over the last 30 years, CARE has continuously adjusted our programs in response to the political developments in the country.
