Nhamu Sufu, from Bangala in Macomia district sits in front of her house which was destroyed by heavy rains and winds when cyclone Kenneth hit her village last week. “"This is all what is left,” she says. “We have been sleeping in the open for the past week.” Kenneth wreaked havoc in almost all districts of Cabo Delgado province in the north of Mozambique when it made landfall on April 25. In some districts such as Ibo, Kenneth destroyed about 90 percent of houses and buildings, leaving thousands homeless.
