Halimo Omar prepares a meal for her children at Hagadera Refugee Camp. Halimo used to be a farmer but due to the drought her farm was destroyed and she was left with nothing. after the death of her daughter at the hands of combatants, she fled to Dadaab in September 2022 to seek safety and food for her children. Halimo narrated that she has suffered from extreme trauma due to the experiences she went through and as a result, has forgotten many things.
