Manegu, lives in an IDP camp in Mudja, receives her food kit.
Manegu, is a mother of 8 children, She was in the field when the conflict affected her village. She rushed to go home and see how to leave. At the beginning Josephine and the other villagers did not know exactly where they were going, but started the journey on foot with the fear of finding obstacles on the way.
She said, "After two days of walking we arrived here in Mudja, in this camp of displaced people. I have been here since November 2022. Living in this camp is the worst experience of my life, because here we rarely eat, we are exposed to many diseases and when it rains it is serious because our huts are not well covered and not even solid."
